ABC Family, we’re at it again! Our scholars will participate in our ongoing Community Service Initiatives throughout the year. We have two community service projects planned for the fall semester and two projects planned for the spring semester.
FALL (2017) Projects
Hands on Atlanta Day 2017 –October 7th
For the second year-ABC/P.A.P has partnered with Hands on Atlanta to participate in their annual Hands on Atlanta Day 2017. We will be at Resources for Residents & Communities to help beautify their facility.
Scope of the project: Participants will be responsible for painting the gym, entryway & hallways, back wall and some lite gardening work. Assignments will be handed out the morning of the project. SIGN UP HERE. Spaces are limited
Action Ministries –December 16th (BOARDERS ONLY)
We set up a volunteer opportunity geared mostly to our boarders, in hopes that they will join us in a community service project during the holiday season. We will be at Action Ministries to pack food boxes to be distributed to hungry families throughout the city in time for the holidays.
